Metro Futures is looking for people to take part in four Wednesday evening workshops (plus some ‘homework’) throughout November 2016. We want to involve your friends and family too, so that we hear from people of different ages, who use Metro a lot or a little, for leisure and for getting to work. We also want to include people who already use (or would like to use) Metro with pushchairs and prams, wheelchairs, and bicycles.
You will meet with researchers from Open Lab to investigate how Metro carriages should change to fit their current and future needs. Working together, we will use mobile-phones and web-based tools to record and share your Metro experiences, and to develop ideas for future Metro carriages. These will be shared through this website and several 'Pop-Up Lab' public drop-in sessions to encourage other people to contribute their own experiences and ideas. You will identify the most important needs and interesting ideas, which Nexus will then use in commissioning new Metro carriages. We will also share these findings through a public film screening and exhibition. Participants will be rewarded with shopping vouchers.
Places are limited, deadline for applications 24th October.
